Notes: "A Fading Rose, #573," was painted by Hovsep Pushman, circa 1950 When A.A. Pushman purchased the piece, his father was unaware of the sale. Upon discovering the purchase, his father asked, "How much did you pay?." He admitted to spending $500, plus a mink fur coat for his mother at Saks Fifth Ave. His father, Hovsep, then touched up the piece, varnished it, and assigned a new inventory journal number, #573. He brought the painting to Findlay Gallery in Chicago where it was last sold.
